His
first big break was the call by "Aditya Vikram
Birla", who knew his father very well. He cooked
with his team of 100 people for 15 days round the
clock at Mumbai for "Kumar Mangalam's Wedding",
then it was followed by 7 days Party of Mr. Anil Agarwal
of Sterlite Group in Goa, round the clock work again,
then the Billionaire Laxmi Niwas Mittal - Super Star
Littered Kolkata wedding. List of names will grow
longer and longer, with Oswals in Ludhiana, Birlas
in Kolkata, Singhivis in Indore, Software Millionaire
in Bangalore, Modis in Delhi, Jalans, Barmechas and
many more. "
He
stepped into self owned Banqueting with MARWAR
Banquets-5B, Judges Court Road (Alipore), which was
followed by MANGALAM - 22, Camac
Street, now AGARWAL PARK - at 35
Diamond Harbour Road, and many more are on its way
to open up. He is having BLUE FOX
Restaurants famous for non-vegetarian International
cuisine and BAKER'S SQUARE Confectioneries
- famous for its Bakery & Confectionery items
and a mineral water factory, which is marketed under
the name of BRAHMPUTRA.
His brother Sanjay Singh, who is
responsible for future developments, improvisations,
administration & labour relations, ably assists
him in all aspects & has been Instrumental in
the Growth & Profile buildup of the Organization.
Lately,
his trip to PARIS and the demand
for Indian food proved that he really could change
peoples' mind about vegetarian food. The "Nalen
Gur Rosogolla & Sondesh" was very much in
demand. This was his first International Trip for
a grand function of 7 days, where people of Paris
were astounded to see the Indians working round the
clock to get the work done, followed by The Barmechas
in Israel which was another milestone.
The Group also had the opportunity to offer hospitality
and services to top personalities, Chief Ministers
like:-Mr. Jyoti Basu, Mr. Buddhadev Bhattacharya,
Ex - Prime Ministers - Late. Mrs. Indira Gandhi
(at Bidhan Nagar), Shri. Chandra Shekhar (at
Jhunjhunwala House). He even had the honour to serve
dinner to all Indian Speakers &
Dy. Speakers Dinner Hosted by Shri.
Somnath Chatterjee (Speaker of Lok Sabha) recently.
He was also invited to organize Wedding Dinner for
Shri. I. K. Gujral's Nephew's Wedding in Delhi
for 3 days.
Inspite
of all the above, Munnaji is totally down to
earth in his simple lifestyle, enjoying his Rice and
Dal meals in morning before going to work. Addresses
everyone as "Babu" with folded hands
in complete keeping with his role in the Hospitality
Industry.
He
is happily married to Lakshmi and has two sons
